Conference President, ISSEP 2024
Distinguished guests, esteemed scholars, dear attendees,
Warm greetings to all! It is with great enthusiasm that I extend a heartfelt welcome to you on behalf of National Taiwan Normal University to the "11th International Seminar in Sport and Exercise Psychology (ISSEP 2024)."
First and foremost, we wish to convey our sincere appreciation to our esteemed guests and participants. Your presence and support are the driving forces behind the realization of this conference on sport and exercise psychology. ISSEP 2024 will not only serve as an international academic event but also as a momentous occasion marking our return to academic conferences and the rekindling of scholarly life as we knew it before the pandemic.
The purpose of this conference transcends the mere provision of a platform for international research and exchange; it also encompasses our commitment to creating opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds. To achieve this, we have established a reduced registration fee, ensuring greater accessibility for a larger number of students to participate. Additionally, both international and domestic graduate student participants will benefit from convenient accommodations and organized visits, guaranteeing their seamless integration into this conference.

We are honored to host distinguished scholars from South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Japan as our esteemed speakers. Furthermore, we will extend invitations to several scholars from Taiwan who will share their research findings and provide insights from a Taiwanese perspective to our international attendees.
In our quest to foster diverse interactions and experiences, we will open the door to submissions of research proposals and narrative reviews, enabling both faculty and students to critically evaluate research plans from a design perspective before implementation. Moreover, we will host an innovative academic exchange session where scholars can share their research published in international and domestic journals, promoting in-depth insights and fresh perspectives.
ISSEP 2024 will also uphold a cherished tradition: the showcasing of cultural exchange experiences from various countries and the Asia-Pacific region through captivating performances and interactive activities during the closing ceremony. These activities signify a mutually beneficial outcome, enriching academic discourse, promoting the sharing of research, enhancing student learning, and nurturing cultural exchange.
Lastly, we kindly request that you mark your calendars, as ISSEP 2024 is scheduled to take place from January 23th to January 26th, 2024, at the main campus of National Taiwan Normal University.
