Abstract Guidelines
Authorship

An individual may be the first author on one oral and no more than two poster presentations. There is no limit on the number of abstracts you can co-author as a non-first author.

The first author is responsible for presenting in person.
Presentation Types
There will be both oral and poster presentations accepted. When you submit your abstract, you can specify your preference.

Oral presentation: You will be given 8 minutes to present your research, followed by a 2-minute question and answer period.

Poster presentation: You will prepare a standard conference poster. More information about the poster session's format and setting will soon be available.
Abstracts for both oral and poster presentations adhere to the same scientific and formatting guidelines for their content. See below for specifics:
Scientific Content
Your presenting research could include data-based, theoretical, or review papers that have either (1) not been previously published or (2) been published in academic journals, both domestically and internationally, within the “past three years”. The categories of study should be scientific research on sport psychology, exercise psychology, performance psychology, as well as motor learning and control.
Formatting Content

Title: Capitalize only the first letter and acronyms/names. Please make sure to use sentence case for the title.

Authors: Please provide your full name in this order: First Name + Last Name (i.e., Joseph Chu). If the study has been previously published, please provide the original list of authors. The presenter of the study should be underlined.

Affiliations: List all institutional affiliations in order with the department, university/organization, city, state (if applicable), and country (i.e., Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan).

Main Text: The abstract body should NOT include (1) section headings (i.e., Introduction, Methods, etc.), (2) author information, (3) reference or footnotes. The first occurrence of an abbreviation or acronym should be preceded by its full form.

Length & Fonts: All abstracts should be less than 2000 characters (including spaces), using Time New Roman 12-point font for the main text.
