Taipai 101
Taipei's iconic skyline is defined by Taipei 101, a building that offers a unique perspective. Riding the world-record-holding ultra-fast elevator from 2004 to 2015, visitors reach the 89th floor, escaping the city's hustle and bustle. From there, they can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Taipei, leaving tourists worldwide in awe of Taiwan's beauty.
One remarkable feature on this floor is the Wind Damper, the world's largest and heaviest and the first one open to visitors. It plays a crucial role in the building's stability against wind and earthquakes.
At 390 meters in elevation, the outdoor observation deck on the 91st floor lets visitors experience high-altitude winds and temperature differences. They can also get a close look at the tower's 508-meter spire, although it may be intermittently closed due to weather conditions.

National Palace Museum
The National Palace Museum, completed in 1965 in Waishuangxi, features a design inspired by Chinese palace architecture. The first to third floors are dedicated to exhibition and display spaces, while the fourth floor serves as a relaxing tearoom.
It houses the world's largest collection of Chinese art treasures, primarily spanning the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, encompassing nearly 5,000 years of Chinese history, with a staggering total of almost 700,000 artifacts.
Within the National Palace Museum, there are two sets of the renowned "Three Treasures of the Palace Museum." One of these treasures is famous in the field of art, consisting of three monumental ink paintings from the Northern Song period. However, due to infrequent displays, very few people have had the opportunity to see them in person.

Xinyi District (Shopping Area)
Xinyi District in Taipei City is a bustling commercial area known for its iconic and trendy urban atmosphere. What makes it unique is its urban-focused design catering to leisure and shopping needs. Chiang-Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall stands on a sturdy three-tiered foundation, symbolizing impartiality and righteousness, in line with the concept of "Jhung Jheng." Its roof boasts an octagonal design adorned with "ren" (Man) motifs at the pinnacle, symbolizing the harmonious unity of humanity and heaven. This distinctive roof is reminiscent of the Altar to Heaven, covered in brilliant blue glazed tiles that glisten in the sunlight. At its peak, the roof shines in a golden hue, radiating a sense of grandeur and glory.
All other materials used in the construction, including pristine white marble, rich red cypress ceilings, and light red granite floors, remain untouched by artificial colors, thus preserving an aura of sanctity, solemnity, warmth, and tranquility.

Ximending
Ximending is well-known for its excellent transportation connectivity, serving as a major hub for Taipei's densely packed bus routes. It's also where the Taipei Metro Blue Line and Green Line intersect at Ximen Station. Ximending is a famous fashion district in Taipei, featuring the city's first designated pedestrian zone. Here, you can find Taipei's first pedestrian zone, Ximen Red House, Tattoo Street, Cinema Street, KTV venues, Wannian Department Store, Wing On Department Store, Eslite Bookstore, and a wide array of boutique shops. It's a favorite weekend destination for Taipei residents.

Taipei Fine Arts Museum
The Taipei Fine Arts Museum is primarily dedicated to promoting and displaying modern art. It is a six-story facility, and the first museum in Taiwan focused on modern art. It is also the largest modern art museum in Asia.

Yangmingshan National Park
Among Taiwan's national parks, Yangmingshan is the closest to a major urban center. It boasts diverse terrain and a rich ecological environment and is a sanctuary for protected species. Lucky visitors may even spot Taiwan's endemic bird, the Formosan Blue Magpie.
The park is adorned with plum, cherry, peach, pear trees, and rhododendrons. In spring, cherry blossoms draw crowds, followed by the calla lilies at Bamboo Lake in mid-March—a must-do event of the season.
One iconic feature in the park is the "Flower Clock," a vibrant display of seasonal flowers worth capturing in photos. Yeliou Scenic Area
Yehliu Scenic Area, home to remarkable rock formations, is a cape extending from the Datun Mountains' residual ridges into the sea. Shaped by processes like weathering, coastal erosion, and tectonic movements, this natural wonderland boasts peculiar attractions such as mushroom rocks, sea-eroded caves, tofu-shaped stones, candle-like rocks, and potholes. It has gained international acclaim as a renowned natural scenic spot. Among these formations, the "Queen's Head" stands out as an iconic landmark and popular photo spot in Yehliu.
