張育愷教授為國立臺灣師範大學體育與運動科學系特聘教授兼系主任,亦為身體活動認知神經科學實驗室主持人。同時擔任國際運動心理學學會 (International Society of Sport Psychology, ISSP) 財務長、亞太運動心理學會 (Asian-South Pacific Association of Sport Psychology, ASPASP) 副理事、中華民國體育學會 (National Society of Physical Education, R.O.C) 副理事長。
2008取得美國北卡羅萊納大學 (University of North Carolina at Greensboro, UNCG) 健身與競技運動科學哲學博士後,張教授的研究領域聚焦於競技與健身運動心理學,尤其是以實驗心理學與認知神經科學取向探討健身運動與認知功能之議題。張教授迄今發表230篇以上之國內外期刊論文,其中包括British Journal of Sports Medicine、Sport Medicine、Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (MSSE)、International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology、Psychology for Sport and Exercise (PSE);跨領域之Psychological Bulletin、Health Psychology、Journals of Gerontology、NeuroImage、Psychophysiology等國際知名期刊。
張教授自2021年起迄今連續榮登全球前2%頂尖科學家、2024年獲美國人體運動科學院海外院士、2020年獲美國北卡羅來納大學學院傑出校友;曾獲2020年教育部體育署運動科學研究及發展獎勵、2019年科技部傑出研究獎、2014年北美身體活動暨競技運動心理學會年輕學者獎、2013年國際運動心理學會年輕學者獎、2012年國際運動心理學會華人年輕學者獎、2012年國科會吳大猷先生紀念獎 (行政院)、2012年中國青年救國團青年獎章 (博學類別得獎者)、2009年美國北卡羅萊納大學 (格林斯堡校區) 最佳博士論文獎等。
2024年擔任International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IJSEP, SSCI, Q2) 共同主編,亦為中華體育季刊 (TSSCI) 主編、Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology、Psychology for Sport and Exercise領域編輯。

Professor Yu-Kai Chang is a Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at National Taiwan Normal University. He is also the Director of the Physical Activity and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory.
He serves as the Treasurer of the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP) and Vice President of the Asian-South Pacific Association of Sport Psychology (ASPASP). Additionally, he is the Vice Chair of the National Society of Physical Education, R.O.C.
In 2008, Professor Chang obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), USA. His research focuses on sport and exercise psychology, specifically exploring exercise and cognition through experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience approaches. To date, Professor Chang has published over 230 journal articles, including in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (MSSE), International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology, and Psychology for Sport and Exercise (PSE). His interdisciplinary publications appear in Psychological Bulletin, Health Psychology, Journals of Gerontology, NeuroImage, and Psychophysiology.
Professor Chang has been honored with several prestigious awards recognizing his contributions to research and scholarship. Since 2021, Professor Chang has been recognized as the top 2% of scientists. In 2024, he was named an overseas fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2020, 2019 Distinguished Research Award, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the 2014 Early Career Distinguished Scholar Award (the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, NASPSPA), the 2013 Developing Scholar Award (the International Society of Sport Psychology, ISSP), the 2012 Chinese Young Scholar Award (the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, IJSEP), the 2012 Da-You Wu Memorial Research Award, the National Science Council, and the 2009 Outstanding Dissertation Awards (the UNCG).
In 2024, he became the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IJSEP, SSCI, Q2) and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Sports Quarterly (TSSCI). He also serves as an area editor for the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology and Psychology for Sport and Exercise.
